Do you want to inspire children through music in a safe and engaged school environment? We are now seeking a qualified music teacher for our operations in central Staffanstorp.
About us
The Staffanstorp Montessori Association's principal is the school board, consisting of engaged guardians. Our operations include preschool, school, and after-school care, and we have about 35 employees.
The school has approximately 100 students in grades preschool–6, taught in age-integrated groups (preschool–1, 2–3, and 4–6). The after-school care has about 70 students, divided into two departments: Anemone (preschool–1) and Poseidon (grades 2–5).
We offer a stimulating environment with high staff density, where our fine outdoor environment provides good opportunities for both creative and physical activities. Pedagogically planned break activities are a natural part of our operations. Work joy, respect, personal responsibility, and engagement are important cornerstones for us.
About the position
We are now seeking a qualified music teacher part-time, two days a week. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on music teaching according to current governing documents, and contributing to students' creativity and desire to learn.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- are a qualified music teacher
- have good pedagogical ability and can create engagement among students
- have a positive attitude and confidence in the student's own ability
- contribute to a good work climate and have good collaboration skills
You will work in a team alongside elementary school teachers, Montessori educators, after-school care educators, preschool teachers, and resource teachers.
