Course Leader in Italian

Medborgarskolan in Gothenburg is seeking engaged and inspiring course leaders.

Medborgarskolan is present throughout the country, and our courses and cultural activities engage nearly one million participants each year. We welcome everyone, and our ambition is to stimulate knowledge-seeking, personal creativity, and societal engagement. We combine enjoyable learning methods with high demands for quality and competence. Medborgarskolan Region Väst, with a regional office in Gothenburg, covers Västra Götaland and Halland.

We are looking for you who are a knowledgeable and pedagogical leader for our Italian courses in the fall of 2026. This applies to both beginner and continuation courses. You need to speak Swedish well. This concerns evening courses on weekdays. You are passionate about the subject you are interested in teaching and want to share your knowledge with others. You enjoy meeting many new people and have previous experience working with adults.

As a person, you are attentive, structured, and strive for good quality and satisfied course participants. You have a social personality and are skilled at building relationships.

The teaching is conducted in the form of group instruction, and you will work as a circle leader. Working hours are primarily scheduled for afternoons and evenings, but daytime hours may also occur. Therefore, it is important that you as an applicant are prepared for varied working hours. The employment is a project-based employment, and a collective agreement exists.
