About Preschool Astronauts

At Astronauts, three educators work together with 14 children. We are looking for you who shares our passion for pedagogy, our view of children, and our desire to work as a co-researching educator.

We strive for a preschool where the days are characterized by joy, play, development, and learning. Each child is met as the unique individual they are, in an environment that sparks curiosity, inspires interaction, and offers many forms of expression.

Our operation is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which permeates our view of children, our approach to learning, and our choices of materials.

About us

We run small, personal preschools with smaller groups of children to create a secure atmosphere where both children and educators have space to grow. Here, everyone should be seen, heard, and feel they are an important part of the community.

In our preschools, we want to offer an educational, calming, and present environment – secluded from the noise of the city but full of opportunities to discover the world at your own pace.

About the work tasks

Your role includes:

• Planning, implementing, and documenting the activities
• Following up and evaluating the work in relation to the curriculum and other governing documents
• Working closely with preschool teachers and the principal to develop the activities in line with the Reggio Emilia inspiration
• Contributing to a secure, creative, and exploratory environment for the children
