Your Duties

We are now seeking a construction teacher with a background and professional certification in wood and concrete. We would prefer if you have experience working in upper secondary or adult education.

As a construction teacher, you will plan, conduct, and evaluate the training based on the agreement entered into with the Employment Service. Together with other construction teachers, you will be responsible for the training in Katrineholm. Several colleagues, both management and more teacher colleagues in construction, will be available remotely.

With a responsible and positive approach, you will coach future construction workers in various trades. The work takes place both on-site at the training provider's facilities and by visiting participants at their workplace training locations. An important part of your role will be to network with the industry, establish contacts, and market our training. The training alternates between theoretical and practical components.

Your Profile

We welcome you who have good subject knowledge in wood and concrete and good pedagogical ability to apply for the position. Previous work as a teacher in upper secondary school or in adult education is meritorious.

To succeed in the role as a vocational teacher, we believe it is important that you work in a structured manner and according to a clear process. As a person, you are confident, meaning you handle stress in a constructive way and have the ability to distinguish between facts and personal matters. To succeed in the role, a good ability to create and nurture relationships with people who come from different backgrounds and experiences is required. You are flexible and have the ability to handle both known and unknown challenges. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented, humble, and believe in collaboration as a way of working.

The position is 100% with a start date during the spring.
