ABOUT THE RAKETEN PRESCHOOL

At the Raketen preschool, 7-8 educators work together with about 40 children. We think it's important that you share our passion for pedagogy and our view of children, and are an inquiry-based educator. We have a vision of a preschool where days are filled with joy, play, development, and learning. Each child is met based on the unique person they are with their different needs, in an environment that challenges and inspires interaction. We draw inspiration from the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which is reflected in our view of children, our approach to learning, and in the choice of materials.

ABOUT US

We work with smaller groups of children and aim to offer a personal and secure environment with our small preschools, where everyone gets the opportunity to be seen and heard. A place that is educational, familiar, and calming, away from the hustle and stress of the city. It is in small groups that children thrive and get the chance to discover the world at their own pace, among people who care and are present.

ABOUT THE TASKS

The work includes planning, implementation, documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of the operations. You will work in close collaboration with preschool teachers and the principal to meet the goals in the curriculum, the preschool's governing documents, and municipal guidelines, and link this to the Reggio Emilia pedagogical philosophy.
