Preschool Educator

Do you want to work in a small, safe, and creative preschool where free play, creativity, and children's curiosity are at the center? Now, the parent cooperative Musica is seeking an engaged preschool teacher for its operations!

Musica is a parent cooperative in the green, pleasant Guldheden with a focus on outdoor education, creative activities, and learning through free play. The children's group is one of Sweden's smallest with its 13 children of various ages, providing good opportunities to see each child and adapt the activities to their needs and development. You work closely with another preschool teacher, a child caretaker, and the principal.

About the Position

We are seeking a preschool teacher for a full-time, one-year temporary position, with a possible extension.

As a preschool teacher with us, you will:

• plan, implement, and develop the educational activities based on the curriculum and the cooperative's policy

• create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for the children

• collaborate closely with colleagues and guardians.

We are looking for you who:

• are a trained preschool teacher

• have a genuine commitment to children's learning and development

• have a present, low-affect, and gentle approach

• are responsible, flexible, and have good collaboration skills.

You do not need to have worked in a parent cooperative before but should be familiar with this type of operation. A preschool teacher degree is a requirement, but your personal qualities carry more weight in the selection process than long experience.
