Healthcare Teacher for Arena Education

Arena Education is now seeking a qualified healthcare teacher on a full-time basis for our training program for assistant nurses in Västerås. Together with a dedicated team, you will help develop training that makes a real difference – for individuals, working life, and society.

About Arena Education

Arena Education provides adult education on behalf of over 70 municipalities as well as the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Higher Vocational Education, and private actors. We offer training in areas including Healthcare and Social Care, Childcare and Leisure, Warehouse and Logistics, Hotel and Tourism, as well as Swedish for Immigrants and theoretical courses at basic and upper secondary levels. Our mission is to create training that meets the needs of the labor market – both today and in the future.

About the Position

In the role of healthcare teacher, you will plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching based on current governing documents and students' individual needs. You will work closely with our students – many from non-Nordic backgrounds – and support them on their path toward work in healthcare and social care. Teaching is conducted in collaboration with an educational resource providing additional support to students with special needs.

You have an important mission to create an inclusive learning environment and contribute to each student having the best possible conditions to succeed. You will also have ongoing contact with work placement sites and the labor market, as well as actively participate in the team's joint development work.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Qualified healthcare teacher/vocational teacher with relevant certification

Merits:

• Experience in teaching within adult education

• Experience in teaching students with a native language other than Swedish

• Good computer skills and familiarity with digital learning platforms

Employment Type:

Full-time, permanent with an initial probationary period as agreed.
