Description

We are a small, well-established parent cooperative with a large bright space right next to Tessin Park and Gärdet.

The children's group consists of 24 children aged 1–6 years. 5 educators are responsible for the educational activities and parents handle operations and management.

We prioritize spending a lot of time outdoors in nature and do so every day of the year regardless of weather. By bus, we easily and quickly reach Lill Jans Forest, Djurgården, and other places we enjoy visiting with the children.

In our education, joyful learning is ongoing, including creativity, lots of singing, play, and movement. We always put the child at the center to cater to each child's needs and conditions for development and learning.

We who work at the preschool have the ability to take our own initiatives, are child-focused, positive, engaged, and flexible educators.

Qualifications

You applying for the substitute position should have previous experience working at a preschool and be a trained childcare worker.

You should be familiar with the preschool's governing documents, demonstrate a genuine interest in your assignment. You have very good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written.

We prefer that you have experience working at a cooperative preschool. Your ability to communicate with children, parents, and colleagues is very good.

You are positive, outgoing, self-motivated, and attentive.

Job Duties

You will, together with the work team, function as a co-explorer and guide the children's group based on our shared values. You will contribute to ensuring that joyful learning is ongoing and that the preschool environment is safe, secure, and developmental. You should continuously be able to document your work in the children's group.

It is important that you enjoy being outdoors with the children's group in all weather year-round.
