Description

Teacher Wanted for Kvarnhjulet Independent School

The School

Kvarnhjulet Independent School started in 1994 and is a non-profit independent school in central Mölndal. As Mölndal's oldest independent school, we have been based in a red-brick architect-designed building in the heart of Mölndal's center since 1999, right below the church by our large, green schoolyard. Here, we have had the privilege of following students from their early school years all the way up to ninth grade—a journey we see as a privilege.

At Kvarnhjulet, relationships are central. We believe that safe, respectful relationships between students, teachers, and guardians create the best foundation for learning and development. With us, every individual is seen and given space to grow, both as a person and in their learning.

We are driven by curiosity. We are curious about our students, their questions, motivations, and needs. It is through curiosity that we together find paths that promote both learning and well-being.

And we believe in knowledge. Our mission is to give every student the best conditions to succeed. Through engaging teaching, creativity, and the right support, we believe everyone can develop. In a safe and permissive environment, both people and knowledge grow, and we learn for life, together.

We aim to offer Mölndal's best school, and our vision is to create a safe, stimulating, and learning school for all children and students.

As an independent school, we have short decision-making paths and great opportunities to shape the operations.

We are now looking for a teacher for our students in grades 4-6.
