Swimming Instructor

Are you our new school swimming instructor?

Helsingborg Swimming Association is now looking for you who want to work as a school swimming instructor on an hourly or part-time basis in our school swimming activities for the academic year 26/27. You probably love being in the water and want to be part of children's and young people's journey to also feel safe in the water and become proficient swimmers.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have previous experience in swimming instruction for children. You have previously worked in roles where pedagogy and learning are the focus, you are genuinely interested in developing as a leader, and you want to be a role model for others. You are positive and spread joy around you!

It is particularly meritorious if you have:

- Documented education such as Swimming Sports Leader, Swimming Line Instructor, swimming teacher, or have equivalent experience.

- Education or equivalent experience as a leader

As a school swimming instructor at Helsingborg Swimming Association, you will work together with other instructors in a team with solid experience. The role involves significant personal responsibility, with your work mainly taking place in the swimming hall and in the water. The work is carried out during daytime hours.

Helsingborg Swimming Association is one of Sweden's leading sports associations with over 5000 members who participate in swimming and swimming instruction, year-round on all days of the week. Our workplaces are at Filborna Swimming Hall, where we also have our administrative operations, and Simhallsbadet in Söder.
