Childcare Worker - Temporary Position

We are currently looking for a staff member to cover a temporary position while one of our childcare workers is on parental leave.

About Us

Preschool Vitsippan Blåsippan is a small and family-oriented operation where everyone knows each other. We have two departments: Vitsippan (1–3 years) and Blåsippan (3–5 years).

Currently, six educators work together with the principal and an in-house chef. Our daily life is characterized by safety and community – among children, educators, and guardians.

We are located in a charming turn-of-the-century villa in Änggården, with an inspiring courtyard and proximity to both Vitsippsdalen, the Botanical Garden, and Slottsskogen. We often spend time outdoors, both in nature and in the city's cultural environments. We work creatively with literature, music, and rhythm. Language development through reading aloud as well as movement and play are central parts of our activities.

About the Work

As a childcare worker with us, you are an important part of the children's daily life. You contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and joyful environment where every child is seen and affirmed.

You are given good opportunities to influence the operation together with your colleagues, and your ideas and initiatives are valued.

We are looking for you who can work independently and with engagement and responsibility contribute to structure and safety in the children's group. You have a very good ability to build relationships with all children and see the importance of close collaboration with both colleagues and guardians. Communication with guardians occurs daily, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

• Education as a childcare worker
• Previous experience working in preschool
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Interest in reading aloud, creative activities, music, and movement
