Arena Education focuses on helping individuals achieve their career goals through education that leads to sustainable employment. Our vision is for every person to work in what they are best suited for, based on their experience and knowledge.
We offer a wide range of individually tailored courses such as SFI, Adult Education, and vocational and apprenticeship training. Our courses are conducted in classrooms, via our distance learning platform Exlearn, or through flexible arrangements for working individuals. To facilitate a quick path to the labor market, we work with a clear connection between education and work, including through vocationally oriented SFI and combination courses where language and vocational studies are integrated.
We work on behalf of Adult Education in Örnsköldsvik Municipality and are now seeking SFI teachers for our operations in Örnsköldsvik.
Your Employment
The position is located in Örnsköldsvik, and we offer the opportunity to work full-time, part-time, or on an hourly basis, depending on your preferences and the needs of the operation. Start is immediate or as agreed.
The employment is temporary until 2026-09-30, as our current contract runs until this date.
Your Duties
As an SFI teacher with us, you teach adult students in the Swedish language with a focus on developing their communicative ability and strengthening their opportunities to establish themselves in the labor market. You plan and conduct teaching based on the individual's needs, prior experiences, and goals, and continuously monitor the students' knowledge development.
The role also includes documenting progression and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. You collaborate closely with your colleagues and actively participate in the joint development work where quality and innovative thinking are in focus.
You Who Are Applying
We are seeking you who are a licensed teacher or studying to become a teacher and are in your final or penultimate term, or have other relevant experience. You have a strong commitment to adult learning and good pedagogical ability, and you thrive in a role where you get to motivate and support individuals to achieve their goals.
As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and good at collaborating with others. You are confident in your professional role or on your way into it and have a professional approach towards both students and colleagues.
It is advantageous if you have experience with adult education or SFI and an interest in digital tools in teaching.
