Childcare Worker

We are now looking for trained childcare workers for our preschools Smaragden and Humlan.

Haga preschools will operate four preschools starting from August 2026: Juvelen, Smaragden, Kotten, and Humlan. Juvelen is located in Ullstämma, Smaragden at T1, Kotten is in Labohov, and Humlan in Malmslätt.

Haga Preschools' focus on natural sciences, technology, and mathematics means we provide all children with the opportunity to develop their interest in these knowledge areas. In our pedagogical work, we give children the tools and conditions needed to develop their abilities in natural science, technology, and mathematics.

We believe that all children can develop by facing challenges at the right level and with proper support. The preschool curriculum permeates everything we do. We offer an education where care, development, and learning form a whole, with children at the center. By allowing children to discover and explore the world, with educators as co-discoverers, the foundation is laid for lifelong learning. The education should be fun, safe, and educational.

We work with children in smaller groups during the day so they can develop based on their own abilities. This gives children the opportunity to build relationships, feel a sense of belonging, and learn from and with each other. We want to teach children to find their strengths, become aware of their possibilities, and develop their abilities based on the challenges they encounter.

The days include planned and spontaneous teaching both outdoors and indoors. We offer days at the preschool that contain both activities and rest several times a day, adapted to the children's needs.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a trained childcare worker.
• Have documented experience from work in preschool, as we highly value pedagogical work.
• Master the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Are a co-researching educator who can challenge children in everyday life through play and imagination.
• Have a good and professional approach.
• Have great commitment and the ability for both attentiveness and flexibility.
• Have the ability to meet children individually and create trusting relationships with all children as well as with guardians.
