Craft and Art Teacher grades 7-9 at Freinet School Hugin

We are looking for a craft and art teacher for the upper secondary level at Freinet School Hugin. The position is a permanent position starting in the fall of 2026.

Are you an engaged educator with a creative and inclusive approach? Do you want to work at a small-scale school in an inner-city environment? With us, you will become part of our staff cooperative at Freinet School and Preschool Hugin. Hugin has one class per grade from pre-school to grade nine and a preschool.

At Freinet School Hugin, you work together in a team where Freinet pedagogy, projects, and thematic work are at the core of the teaching. As a craft and art teacher, you will be an important part of our interdisciplinary work and in value-creating learning, where our goal is to have a recipient for the students' work.

We are looking for you who want to work full-time and are qualified in craft/art for grades 7-9. We primarily seek someone qualified in both woodcraft and textile craft. The assignment as a craft and art teacher amounts to 60%, and the remaining time you will, for example, be part of a two-teacher setup in the classrooms, including in lessons in Swedish/English.
