We are now looking for a Technical Project Manager / Project Engineer for our client in Malmö, where you will have the opportunity to work in a central role within the train and alarm area – from idea to delivery and throughout the lifecycle.

About the Role

In the role as Technical Project Manager / Project Engineer, you will have a key position where you are responsible for driving and coordinating both new and existing projects. You work closely with customers, internal functions, and the sales organization, ensuring that deliveries maintain high technical quality.

The role combines project management with technical operational work, meaning you both lead projects and are involved in technical solutions and documentation.

Typical Tasks:

· Drive and coordinate projects within the train and alarm area

· Be responsible for customer dialogue and ongoing communication

· Develop technical documentation, such as manuals, instructions, drawings, and reports

· Act as technical support towards customers

· Interpret and apply relevant technical standards

· Support in sales processes by analyzing requirement specifications and proposing solutions

· Handle complaints, repairs, and customer issues according to established processes

· Support inside sales as needed and manage simpler order flows

· Follow up on deliveries and ensure correct data in business systems

Travel occurs in the position, for example during tests, commissioning, customer visits, and trade shows.

We have previous experience with the client and know that they offer a secure and developing work environment. The company is Swedish, medium-sized, and has its office in Malmö. There are office staff and a lab. They are technical experts in a niche within the boat and train industry.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with a technical background who thrives in a role where you get to combine structure, problem-solving, and customer contact.

We prefer that you:

· Have experience with technical project work, including documentation

· Have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

· Are experienced in working with business systems and the Office suite

It is meritorious if you have:

· Experience from the train, vehicle, or related industry

· Knowledge of German

· Experience with Visio and JIRA

Employment Type

This is a recruitment hire, meaning you will initially be employed by us and work as a consultant at our client. The ambition from the start is that the employment will transition to a permanent position with the client after approximately 6 months, provided both parties are satisfied.
