
Technical Salesperson - Security Technology

About the Position
As a technical salesperson, you are responsible for the entire sales process – from prospecting and needs analysis to quotation, procurement, and deal closure. You work in an advisory capacity and help customers develop the right solutions in areas such as:
- Burglar alarms
- Camera surveillance
- Integrated security systems
You collaborate closely with project managers and technicians to ensure that delivery meets customer expectations. The role involves both acquiring new customers and developing existing ones.
In this role, you are responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities through active market engagement. You conduct customer meetings and needs analyses to understand the customer's operations and security needs, and then develop technical solution proposals. Additionally, you are responsible for creating, presenting, and following up on quotations, as well as participating in procurement processes.
A key part of the work is building and nurturing long-term customer relationships while staying updated on market developments and new technology trends in the security field.
Your Competence and Experience
We are looking for you who have experience in B2B sales, preferably in security technology, electrical, installation, or another related technical industry. You have good technical understanding and the ability to see the customer's challenges and needs.
You have experience in managing the entire sales process – from prospecting and needs analysis to quotation, negotiation, and closure – and thrive on working towards clear goals and budgets.
We prefer if you have knowledge and experience with security systems such as alarm systems and camera surveillance systems.
Additionally, we consider it meritorious if you hold any relevant education in the current field, such as "Certified Engineer for Burglar Alarms", "Certified Engineer for CCTV", or other vocational training in the area.
To succeed in this role, we see that you at least handle Swedish fluently in both speech and writing and to some extent also English in speech and writing.
The role involves meetings on-site with customers, which requires a driver's license with category B.
Your Personal Qualities
To succeed in the role, you are structured, self-motivated, and business-oriented. You have good communication skills and build trust with both customers and colleagues. Furthermore, you should be humble and have the ability to work both independently and in a group.
Additional Information
Salary
Fixed base salary per month + commission based on achieved sales results.
