About Hagaskolan

Hagaskolan is a Waldorf school with approximately 170 students from preschool class to grade 9. We are a small-scale school with a strong community, engaged teachers, and close collaboration between staff, guardians, and the board.

The school has a student base from several municipalities in the region and also plays an important role in the local community by contributing to safety and support for children and youth in the area.

Here, the Waldorf pedagogy's holistic view of learning meets a strong commitment to students' development, creativity, and well-being.

Your Mission as Principal

As principal, you have the operational overall responsibility for Hagaskolan's activities. You lead the daily work and drive the school's development together with an engaged team.

In the role:

• you lead the pedagogical activities and develop Waldorf pedagogy in practice
• you create an engaging and trust-based leadership where employees feel seen and involved
• you ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with school law, national governing documents, and the school's operational plan
• you develop the school's organization, quality, and work environment
• you represent the school and strengthen its visibility externally
• you collaborate closely with the board and school director on strategic matters

You have overall responsibility for the school's quality, personnel, economy, work environment, and organization.

• have principal education (ongoing or completed)
• have relevant higher education
• have experience in leadership within school operations
• have a good understanding of Waldorf pedagogy or a strong interest in deepening your knowledge of it
• have good knowledge of school law and the school's governing documents
