Unit Manager for Check-In & Security Control

South Lapland Airport is now seeking a unit manager for check-in and security control.

About the Role

As a unit manager, you are responsible for the daily operations within check-in and security control. In this role, you lead the operations and work operationally alongside the team in the daily work.

You ensure that operations are conducted safely and efficiently, with a high focus on aviation security.

As the responsible person, you are also part of the airport's management group. There, you contribute to the development of the operations.

You also collaborate with airlines and other actors at the airport.

Job Duties

• Lead, plan, and develop the work within check-in and security control

• Work operationally in both units as needed

• Personnel responsibility including supervision and competence development

• Ensure that applicable regulations and security requirements are followed

• Collaborate with other functions at the airport

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership and personnel responsibility

• Good ability to work structured and make decisions under time pressure

• Communicative and solution-oriented

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

• Previous experience with check-in and/or security control
