Hagvidson currently operates twenty-one preschools, two of which are located in Västerås and two additional preschools are in neighboring municipalities. As a principal at Hagvidson, you are part of the company's principal group and contribute to influencing and shaping Hagvidson's continued development. Within Hagvidson, there are central resources in multiple areas, providing you with substantial support in your professional development. We are seeking a principal who is passionate about maintaining the strong team that enables good pedagogical development, on each department and across the preschool as a whole. We are looking for an acting principal who continuously works to create a high-quality preschool that is the obvious choice for all guardians in the area. A preschool where the principal has a clear role and is the obvious face outward.

As a leader, you are a good representative of the governing body and have the courage to be direct and clear. You take significant responsibility for the preschool and actively work to ensure your entire team does the same. The preschool has two departments, providing you with good conditions to be a present leader and great opportunities to develop your staff. The size of the preschool, and your active participation in the pedagogical work, also gives you opportunities to contribute to developing the children and have an active and close dialogue with the guardians.

Central resources are available to assist with financial management and personnel administrative matters. From us, you receive good governing documents and a clear role distribution between the governing body and principal, as well as a clear mandate with extensive delegation and broad authority.

The preschool has well-suited facilities, including its own kitchen where food is prepared from scratch. The outdoor area offers great opportunities and is equipped with a large grill hut.

Educational background and experience:

You have a pedagogical degree and experience leading staff in pedagogical settings. We prefer that you have previous leadership experience in a principal role or have worked as a development leader or department head within a pedagogical setting and are now ready for the next step in your career.
