
Temporary Position - Store Manager to Uppsala or Rotebro

The Company:
Trädgårdsgrossisten i Stockholm AB is a company focused on B2B customers (businesses) operating in the green sector. We are a wholesale company selling soil, grass seed, fertilizer, garden tools, pots, flower bulbs, etc. to business customers.
We currently have three professional stores, one in Årsta at Partihandlarvägen 1, a store in Rotebro at Kung Hans väg 8, and a store in Uppsala at Björkgatan 77, as well as two web shops. We have 10 employees and a turnover of approximately 48 MSEK.
This position is a parental leave temporary assignment to the Uppsala store starting immediately and until 27-12-03 with possible extension. However, the position can be located in Rotebro as an alternative if the applicant is closer to that store. (The store manager in Rotebro would then work in Uppsala instead)
Description of the work tasks:
Store sales covering everything from advising, cashier duties, price marking of goods to planning the store layout according to which seasonal products are relevant. You are also responsible for phone and email inquiries from our customers and have internal contacts with other stores and purchasers. You receive deliveries from our suppliers and help customers load their cars with a forklift if needed and also load the local transport company.
The work involves some heavy lifting, so you must be able to handle this and be stress-resistant, efficient, and thorough. It is important that you have a positive attitude towards our customers and that you enjoy providing the best service possible based on the workload you have during different periods. A B driver's license and forklift license are required. If you do not have a forklift license, we will arrange for it.
Who are we looking for?
You have fluent knowledge in Swedish and basic English knowledge as many of our customers speak English.
You have a B driver's license and forklift license A+B. The work involves physical labor, and for example, helping our customers load soil sacks of about 20kg is common.
The work requires that you can quickly switch between different tasks and you enjoy everything from sales to warehouse management. You are interested in gardening or have worked as a garden landscaper.
Many customers come to the store daily, so you will get to know many nice people with us.
You are fast, thorough, and understand the importance of planning your work in the best way during the day. We work in the business system Pyramid and Office 365.
You must be able to start your employment by June 1 at the latest but preferably earlier as we do not know exactly when the parental leave begins.
Location: Uppsala, Boländerna
Working hours: Mon - Thurs: 06:25-15:05 Fri 06:25-13:05 (working hours are preliminary and may change)
Temporary Full-time: Start by June 1 at the latest (probation period 6 months)
Salary: Monthly salary
