The Role

As the purchasing and logistics manager, you are responsible for ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time and at the right cost. You lead and develop both the purchasing work and the logistics function, and collaborate closely with production, planning, and management.

Your responsibilities include managing the entire purchasing process from needs analysis to contracts and follow-up, leading and developing logistics, warehousing, and material flows, as well as negotiating prices and terms with suppliers. You optimize inventory management and capital allocation, work data-driven with key metrics and improvement initiatives, and drive sustainability efforts in the supply chain. You also ensure risk management, continuity planning, and supplier assessments.

Who are we looking for?

You are confident, humble, and solution-oriented, and enjoy being close to the operations. You have experience in purchasing and logistics within manufacturing or industry, good technical understanding, documented negotiation skills, and a structured and data-driven work approach. You are communicative, collaborative, and have experience with sustainability and risk work in supply chains.

If you have also built up or developed a purchasing and logistics function, that is a big plus.
