Business-Driven Operations Developer

You will become a key person in our operations with responsibility both for making the daily work function and for taking us forward. You work closely with customers, companies, and collaboration partners and are expected to actively contribute to developing business, strengthening our relationships, and identifying new opportunities.

Your mission

• Be responsible for administration of courses and examinations.
• Ensure quality in our systems and processes
• Build and develop relationships with customers and industry stakeholders
• Drive sales and create new business opportunities
• Develop collaborations within the nautical sector
• Participate in and represent the Nautical School at fairs and events
• Actively contribute to operations development and new initiatives

We are looking for you who:

• Have a clear entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy creating results and driving development
• Are confident in customer dialogues and accustomed to building relationships
• Are structured and thorough

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in, for example, economics, project management or equivalent work experience
• Experience in customer contact, coordination, project management, or sales
• Driver's license B
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Experience in B2B sales or business development
• Experience in operations development
• Established network within shipping or related industry
• Nautical interest

About us

The Nautical School has almost 60 years of experience in maritime education and has offered vocational college education since 2021. We are located in Långedrag, in the heart of Gothenburg's boating life, where we work closely with both the industry and students daily.
