About the role

The HR team at Tekniska is facing exciting new development and significant changes regarding both system support and organizational culture. To free up time for development work, the team wishes to strengthen with an HR specialist.

As an HR specialist, you will work with the entire museum as an "internal client." This includes providing administrative support in connection with new hires and ongoing changes in operations. Tekniska has a large proportion of hourly and part-time employees in our public operations with higher mobility, resulting in a continuous high influx of administrative tasks. The role also involves participating in the full breadth of HR work.

You need to be independent, flexible, meticulous, and easy to collaborate with. You will be part of the HR unit and work as a member of the team, reporting to the HR manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who excels at administration and has experience in administration as well as GDPR. You enjoy working systematically and methodically. You have the ability to see what needs to be done and independently complete tasks. Furthermore, you have experience with HR and payroll administration. We place great importance on personal qualities – you are structured, responsible, and driven.

We prefer that you have

  • Academic degree with a personnel administration focus
  • Some years of experience working with HR
  • Very good experience with the Office package
  • Practical experience with administrative tasks including payroll administration and HR systems
  • Good ability to plan and structure
  • Experience working with the scheduling system Quinyx and/or the payroll system Primula as well as Hailey HR is advantageous
  • Experience with government agreements is a merit
  • Good Swedish in speech and writing.

About the National Museum of Science and Technology's HR team

The HR team at the National Museum of Science and Technology consists of three people distributed among an HR manager, an HR specialist, and a Strategic scheduler. The team is responsible for strategic personnel work, salary budgets and salary revisions, manager and employee support, active work environment efforts, payroll administration policies, negotiations, and information according to MBL. During spring 2026, a new HR system Hailey HR will be implemented, which also involves reviewing existing HR processes, change management, and cleaning of old data. The team also drives (in consultation with other teams) a digital learning platform (pre- and onboarding), coordinates training, etc. The team is part of the Operations Support function.

About the position

The position is a temporary full-time (100%) employment for six months.

Appointment occurs as soon as possible after agreement. We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.
