Accounting Economist

Are you a down-to-earth doer who loves when things are happening fast? We are expanding rapidly, launching several new companies, and are now looking for an accounting economist who wants to help build the future finance function with us!

About the role

We are in an intensive growth phase with several newly established companies under our umbrella. This means a high work pace, short decision paths, and a daily routine that is never the same. As our new accounting economist, you will have overall responsibility for the accounting in our companies, with Fortnox as your primary workspace.

Your task will not only be to handle the numbers, but to ensure that our financial processes keep up as we scale up.

Your main responsibilities

• Group-wide accounting: Be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping and accounts receivable for multiple companies in the group.

• Optimization: Set up and optimize workflows in Fortnox to handle high transaction volumes.
• 
  
• Financial statements & Reporting: Independently prepare monthly financial statements and report key figures to management.
• 
  
• VAT & Tax: Handle declarations and ensure correct regulatory compliance in all companies.
• 
  
• New establishment: Participate in the financial routines during the startup of new units.

Who are you?

Your qualifications:

• System expertise: You are highly skilled in Fortnox and accustomed to digital workflows.

• Experience: You have worked a few years with independent accounting and are comfortable with the financial statement process.
• 
  
• Mindset: You have a "can-do" attitude and thrive in companies with a high pace and strong entrepreneurial spirit.
• 
  
• Communication: You speak and write Swedish fluently. A large part of our operations is conducted in English in both text and speech.
