
Small Preschool Company Seeks Accounting Economist and Administrator

Do you want to work in an organization that makes a real difference – every day? We are now looking for a structured and self-driven accounting economist who wants to take overall responsibility for the finances and parts of the administration in our small preschool company. The position is part-time, i.e., 4 hours/day.
About the Role
As an accounting economist with us, you are responsible for the company's overall financial function and central administrative tasks. The role is broad and involves both operational work and responsibility for ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and efficient processes within both finance and administration.
You work closely with the operations and management, and become a key person in creating financial control, order in administration, and long-term stability.
Your Main Work Tasks:
- Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Invoicing and payment management
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
- Preparation of annual reports
- Tax reporting
- Payroll management including pensions and employer declarations
- Budget work and follow-up
- Liquidity planning
- Contact with auditors during annual reporting
- Development and optimization of financial routines and processes
Administrative Work Tasks:
- Personnel administration (employment contracts, record-keeping, certificates, etc.)
- Administration related to new hires and terminations
- Management of absences, leave, and simpler HR-related issues
- Document management and archiving
- Support to management group in administrative matters
- Management of purchases and orders
- Contact with suppliers and service partners
- Coordination of internal administrative processes
- Support in monitoring contracts and subscriptions
We Are Looking for You Who:
- Have relevant education in economics/accounting
- Have several years of experience in qualified accounting work
- Have experience in independently preparing financial statements and annual reports
- Have good knowledge of taxes, VAT, and payroll management
- Have experience with administrative work tasks
- Are structured, meticulous, and have a strong sense of responsibility
- Thrive in a broad role where you get to take significant personal responsibility
- Have good system proficiency (experience with financial systems and payroll systems is advantageous)
Advantageous:
- Experience from educational institutions or publicly funded organizations
- Experience working in small or medium-sized companies with overall responsibility
