Accounting Economist for a well-established haulage company in Tomelilla

Are you an experienced accounting economist who wants to work close to the business in a stable and well-established haulage company? Then this might be the right role for you.

We are now looking for an accounting economist who wants to take responsibility for the accounting and at the same time help develop our financial processes as the business grows.

About the position

As an accounting economist with us, you work broadly within the finance area and have an important role in daily operations. You collaborate closely with management and other functions and contribute to ensuring quality and structure in our financial flows.

Your tasks include among others:

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Monthly closing and follow-up
• Management of customer and supplier accounts receivable
• VAT and collection declarations
• Contact with auditors and authorities
• Support to the business in financial matters
• Participation in improvement and digitalization work

The role in the organization

You will be alone in your role as accounting economist and have significant personal responsibility for the finance work.

This means you need to be confident in independently driving and prioritizing your work within accounting and closing.

At the same time, you have support in the organization through close collaboration with management, colleagues, and external accounting/auditing firms when needed.

We are looking for you who have experience in accounting and feel confident in the work with closing and ongoing finance.

You master Swedish and English in speech and writing.
