About the Position

As an Economist at Bengtsfors Teknik AB, you have a broad area of responsibility where you handle the company's finances and drive improvements in accounting and financial reporting.

You will work closely with the CEO and other managers in the company to ensure efficient and business-oriented financial management.

Your tasks include among others:

· Ongoing accounting and financial follow-up conducted monthly.

· Interim and annual financial statements.

· Responsibility for budgeting work

· Preparing financial reports for the board/CEO

· Responsibility for grant management and financial applications

· Contacts with the municipality and other collaboration partners.

· Support to managers and employees in financial matters within the company.

· Controller function

· System responsible for the financial system within the company.

· Coordinating work with auditors

· Participates in annual reports and activity statements (or included in support to the manager)

· Analysis of deviations between budget, forecast, and outcome

The position is located at our office in Bengtsfors and offers a hybrid solution where you can work remotely part-time after the introduction period.

About You

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

• Relevant education in economics at university level or equivalent experience

• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting

• Independence and drive to improve financial processes

• Communicative and collaborative attitude

It is meritorious to have several years of experience in qualified financial work from municipal companies and/or public operations.
