Wanted: Digital Communicator

Are you a driven person who is passionate about communication and wants to contribute to a better society? nxtME is looking for a digital communicator and web editor with experience in target audience optimization of communication and running campaigns on social media.

nxtME is a nationwide non-profit association that offers free support and help for those who are or have been victims of sexual abuse as children by someone in the family or a close relative. Despite the difficult subject, we are an association characterized by strong commitment because we know we provide great societal benefit.

As our digital communicator, you will be an important cog in our operations. You will work with communication through digital content and campaigns to increase traffic to our website and in our social media channels and mailings. The goal is to reach more victims, increase awareness of this societal problem, and find more people who want to support our activities.

We are looking for you who:

• Have documented experience as a web editor and/or social media editor
• Have experience creating and running target audience optimized campaigns on multiple platforms
• Have experience working with statistics and web analytics
• Are a skilled writer with good stylistic ability
• Are accustomed to formulating yourself in articles, debate posts, or opinion pieces
• Have an interest in societal issues, politics, and opinion formation
• Like to take a stand, spark engagement, and contribute to conversations that create change
• Have experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Goodle Ads, WordPress, Canva, and membership systems
• Are driven, goal-oriented, proactive, and self-sufficient
• Want to contribute to a better society

This is a consulting assignment at 100% with start date upon agreement.

nxtME was started in 2012 and is today an established force and a knowledge hub for victims as well as for society's support and care services. Studies show that 1-2 students per class are victims of incest in Sweden, while over 70 percent have never learned about this type of abuse in school. This is something we want to do something about!
