Company Nordic Export Groups Oy (Nordic Groups) offers internationalization services and expert assistance in sales and marketing for small and medium-sized enterprises in several different business areas and industries, but especially in the construction and building materials sector in the Nordics, primarily in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. Nordic Groups primarily helps Finnish companies establish themselves in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. The focus of their assignments lies in direct sales and marketing measures by "opening new doors" for their clients. Among the company's larger customers can be mentioned Skanska, NCC, PEAB, Veidekke, house manufacturers and prefab companies, as well as actors in the building materials industry such as K-Bygg, Beijer, Mestergruppen, Optimera, and other subcontractors to the construction industry. They also receive many inquiries in new industries within IT and digitalization systems for the construction industry and other related areas. Position The purpose of the position is to help companies find ways to internationalize and start exporting or to develop existing exports. Typical tasks and results: Nordic Export Group has carried out assignments for several Finnish companies by conducting market and competitor analyses, finding various types of customers, collaboration partners (e.g., agents, distributors, and other personnel), and building distribution channels for their products. Additionally, Nordic Groups creates customer relationships and has secured business for many of the companies they have as clients. Tasks As a business developer for the construction industry, you work both with helping existing clients increase their sales and contact points, as well as finding and starting new business with new customers throughout the Nordics. This is done by conducting market and competitor analyses, finding various types of collaboration partners (e.g., agents, distributors, and other personnel), and building distribution channels for their products. You should create customer relationships and secure business for companies that Nordic Groups represents. You become the key account manager for the companies you are assigned, and since you work across the entire Nordics, it requires a lot of travel. Furthermore, in the role, you attend trade fairs and accompany resellers on joint visits to the customers you have created. You own the entire sales process from lead/incoming lead to closing and reporting. Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities . Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales of products within B2B . Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing . Strong technical interest . Beneficial with knowledge of German . Beneficial with previous sales experience in: construction industry, metal industry, automation, electrical or energy industry. Furthermore, you have the ability to see the whole from different business perspectives and are keen to work on projects until results are achieved. Additionally, you are accustomed to structuring your own work and have the ability to make your own decisions, even without all the information, to move forward. We are also seeking people with extensive experience in senior positions where knowledge of the market and technology has played a significant role.
