Vehicle Technician

We are now seeking Vehicle Technicians to build our team within a mobile car workshop. We are a transport company starting a digital mobile workshop that helps our own and our fleet partners' vehicles on-site when sudden issues arise in the cars.

About the job

As a vehicle technician, you will work with alignment, repair, wheel measurement, and wheel alignment for passenger and light commercial vehicles. We are looking for you with experience from the industry, who can perform everything from troubleshooting, equipping used and new cars, and maintenance, to engine service and repairs.

Work tasks may include:

• Service and maintenance
• Changing oil, filters, spark plugs, brake pads, and other wear parts.
• Checking tires, exhaust systems, cooling systems, and batteries.
• Troubleshooting
• Using computer-based diagnostic tools to find faults in engines, electronics, or control systems.
• Listening, test driving, and analyzing symptoms from the customer.
• Repairs
• Brakes, steering, and suspension.
• Transmission and drivetrain.
• Electrical systems (lights, starter motor, alternator, sensors).
• Customer contact
• Explaining what is wrong and what needs to be addressed.
• Providing cost estimates for repairs.
• Administration
• Documenting completed work.
