
Traveling Mechanic
Description
We are looking for a self-sufficient, meticulous, and solution-oriented traveling Mechanic for immediate employment. You will be based from our workshop in Hässleholm.
Transformator Service AB is a well-established company with many years of experience helping electricity and power companies as well as transformer manufacturers with transformer service. We install new transformers and repair and renovate existing power, distribution, and measurement transformers in the Scandinavian market.
Qualifications/Requirements
· High school diploma/graduation certificate from a three-year or two-year high school
· At least 2 years of work experience
· Residing within a commutable distance (approximately 50 km) to Hässleholm
· Driver's license B
· Swedish and English in speech and writing
· Good physical condition
· Ability to read and follow drawings and electrical schematics
Meritorious
· Technical education or work experience
· General electrical knowledge such as measuring voltage and current, troubleshooting electrical panels
· Experience working in substations such as switching assistant or similar
· BE driver's license (heavy trailer)
· Forklift license A, B (counterbalance forklift)
Job Duties
We offer you a fun and varied job in a smoke-free workplace with the opportunity to be involved in influencing the development of our company, which is in constant growth. The work involves alternating travel combined with work in the workshop in Hässleholm. You will be our ambassador with customers, and it is naturally important that you respect our customers' wishes.
The traveling work involves:
· Installation of new transformers
· Repair of larger transformers
· Maintenance of transformers
In the field, you will do everything from painting to troubleshooting and new installations. This may include replacing components, troubleshooting on and in transformers and monitoring systems. It is a physical job that requires good physical condition and is mainly done in groups of at least two. The work is full-time daytime Monday to Friday, some weekend work may occur, and it may be that you stay overnight on site and are away from home during the week. Longer workdays occur as well as occasional night shifts.
The work in the workshop involves:
· Repair of smaller transformers – packing replacement, component replacement, and repair of parts, etc.
· Versatile mechanical and electrical work
We offer specialized training both internally and externally where you have the opportunity for continuous skills development. Some training is done with manufacturers in Europe while other training is done on site in projects with a supervisor from the manufacturer.

· Have a strong desire to create good results and contribute your best to achieve the company's goals
· Are good at collaborating with others but also able to work independently
· Are very meticulous with an eye for detail
· Keep order and tidiness around you
· Do not become stressed if your schedule may change due to more urgent matters arising but can easily adapt and use your time appropriately
Computer Skills
· Experience working with the Microsoft Office package
· Use of smartphone and tablet
Scope & Duration: Full-time & Permanent
Salary Type: Fixed monthly salary
