Mechanic with Elements of Property Maintenance

Do you want a varied job where you get to work with vehicles and practical property maintenance? Then this might be the role for you!

We are now seeking a mechanic who also wants to contribute to the maintenance and supervision of our properties. You will be an important part of the operation and have a role with great responsibility and variety in tasks.

About the Position

You will mainly work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of vehicles. In addition, this includes simpler property maintenance, such as daily supervision of the properties, minor repairs, upkeep of outdoor environments (e.g., lawn mowing, snow removal, and sanding), patrols and checks of technical installations, ordering materials, and contact with contractors. The role also includes on-call duty, which involves answering calls and assisting drivers with vehicle issues.

Working hours may vary between day and evening, Monday - Friday

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience as a vehicle mechanic or similar
• Relevant education for heavy vehicles or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in property maintenance or similar work is meritorious
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Proficiency with systems
• Class B driver's license (Class C/CE license is meritorious)
• Good electrical knowledge and experience with troubleshooting is highly meritorious
• Forklift license A-B meritorious

The employment is a permanent full-time position based in Borlänge.

Start date as agreed. A six-month probationary period applies.
