CNC Operator Wanted for Prototype Developer!

We are looking for more CNC operators to join our team and contribute their expertise.

Maskinteknik in Oskarshamn works broadly with both design and manufacturing of special machines, tools, instruments, and prototypes. With our own machine workshop under the same roof, we deliver high-tech solutions for final disposal of nuclear fuel, manufacturing industry, researchers, and private individuals.

About the Role

With us, you will become part of an experienced and cohesive team where we work both independently and collaborate in groups. The role is varied, with machine operators and designers working together to optimize manufacturing methods and develop technical solutions, from individual components to delivering an entire machine or product. Precision, technical understanding, and responsibility are crucial for success in the role as a CNC operator.

Examples of tasks:

• Manufacturing and processing of one-off components and short series
• CNC operation with associated programming, clamping, and fixturing in:

*Milling

*Multi-operation machine

*Turning

*Bed milling

*Wire and sinker EDM

*Edge press

*Waterjet machine

• Common control systems include, e.g., Mazatrol, Heidenhain, Fanuc
• Programming directly at the machine or preparation in CAD/CAM, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, Esprit

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in industry and who values quality and precision. You have a good understanding of tolerances and manufacturing methods and approach your tasks with professionalism, reliability, and a high focus on quality.

Requirements for the Position

• Several years of experience with CNC-controlled machines
• Ability to set up, adjust, and program independently at the machine
• Good knowledge of reading drawings and materials
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Class B driver's license

Merits

• Experience in measurement technology
