Wasasten of Sweden is seeking employees.

Wasasten of Sweden is a stone quarrying company that has been extracting Älvdalen quartzite since the late 1800s.

We both quarry blocks and produce finished products such as countertops, gravestones, slabs, paving stones, facades, cobblestones, walls, flooring, steps, and various artistic projects. We work extensively with our own stone as well as other stone types from Sweden and the rest of the world. Our customers include both private and public sectors, locally within the Nordic region, and we also export to Japan, the USA, Canada, and other parts of Europe. Currently, we are three people working in production and wish to add one or two more.

We are looking for you who wants to work in a team where you work both independently and collaboratively with other employees. You will work with large and heavy machinery, and experience operating loaders and forklifts is an advantage but not a requirement; the most important thing is your willingness to learn. A big plus if you have an interest in machinery and materials.

You should have good physical fitness and a driver's license. Our factory and quarry are located in Mångsbodarna, and using public transport is impossible.
