SWEDE-WHEEL AB is seeking a team-leading setter/machine operator - automatic press

Are you an experienced and curious press operator/setter with good knowledge in sheet metal processing, eccentric pressing, and machine setting? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

As a press operator/setter with us, you will work in a modern sheet metal workshop where you perform sheet metal processing with high precision and quality. You are responsible for setting up and programming machines via various control systems to achieve optimal production.

Your role includes working with automatic presses and eccentric presses for thin sheet metal processing, as well as shaping and bending sheet metal. You need to be able to identify and address any operational issues or deviations. Additionally, you will perform general tasks as an operator. Independent work and a good understanding of group dynamics are crucial for success in this role.

As a team leader, you combine operational work with the responsibility of leading and distributing daily tasks, supporting colleagues in production, and ensuring efficiency, quality, and a good work environment in the team.

We are looking for you who:

• Have several years of work experience in sheet metal processing, sheet metal workshops, and/or the manufacturing industry.
• Can use, set, and adjust eccentric presses and automatic presses.
• Have good technical understanding of press processes and flows.
• Have a forklift license and forklift experience.
• Are accustomed to using overhead cranes and/or gantry cranes.
• Proficiently master Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Are confident in taking responsibility, making decisions, and supporting others in their work.

Advantageous:

• Experience with press machines.
• Experience working with various business systems.
• General knowledge of how sheet metal works and should be processed for optimal results.
