Blaster

Tunby Blasting & Painting AB is seeking an experienced blaster. The role includes some planning, service, and maintenance.

Forklift and overhead crane certificates are required.

Your duties may involve all common tasks such as washing, masking, blasting, packing, and forklift & overhead crane operation.

• Perform tasks with engagement and organization.
• Carry out preparatory work before and after painting, such as washing, blasting, filling, sanding, masking, hanging, and packing.
• Handle service and maintenance for the tools used.
• Show interest in developing your knowledge, reading relevant regulations, masking & painting instructions.
• Perform work safely, from a work environment and environmental perspective, for good economy and to prevent accidents.
• Use provided protective clothing and equipment.
• Perform tasks according to and report self-inspection.
• Report time and material consumption after each completed task.
• Be responsible for your workplace.

You have good self-awareness, willingness to cooperate & physical fitness.

The work is carried out in our modern workshop located in Tunbytorp in Västerås.
