WOG Metall in Skillingaryd is part of the Götaströmsgruppen group. At WOG Metall, around 20 employees work in areas such as welding, laser cutting, edge pressing, powder coating, assembly, and warehousing. We are now looking to strengthen our production department.

We are looking!

We are now seeking an edge press operator for our two edge pressing machines. You have a basic workshop technical education or experience in workshop work in some form. Good knowledge in reading drawings and material science is a prerequisite. If you have previous experience as an edge press operator, it is highly meritorious.

Your tasks

As an edge press operator at WOG Metall, you will have an important role in production where you work with manufacturing sheet metal parts in various shapes and batch sizes. The work includes both simpler and more complex parts, making the role varied and developmental. In the role of edge press operator, you will also work with programming, tool selection, reading drawings, as well as control measurement and quality assurance of finished parts. You will be an essential part of production and contribute to ensuring an efficient and precise manufacturing flow.

We offer you an educational and developmental job with varied tasks. The employment starts as soon as possible and begins with a brief introduction. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday. The position is a 100% permanent employment and may begin with a probationary period. As an employee at WOG Metall, you are covered by several collective agreement insurances and contract-based salaries. We aim for differentiated salaries and therefore apply individual salary setting. All employees are offered an annual wellness allowance.
