Senior Test Manager

Assignment Description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Test Manager to lead, develop, and create common working methods and strategies for testing—both strategically and operationally. The assignment may be extended. Employees are expected to work from the office three days per week.

As a Test Manager, you will have a key role in creating structure, long-term planning, and high quality in our testing work. You will drive the direction for how we work with testing across the entire organization and ensure that our methods and strategies are both effective and sustainable. You will lead the way when teams need a common direction and become the unifying force for all testers within Skånetrafiken.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Define and manage Skånetrafiken's testing processes and guidelines: Responsible for driving and setting overarching, common, and uniform working methods, methods, and tools for how Skånetrafiken works with testing, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Lead and develop the testing area within Skånetrafiken: You will drive a forum where our testers can grow, where competence and experience are shared, working methods are developed, and where everyone feels involved in how Skånetrafiken together creates uniform working methods across teams.
• Support teams in operational testing work: You are an advisor and methodological support when teams need help, especially in complex situations, risk management, or dependencies between teams. You help teams make wise choices that strengthen testing work throughout the delivery.
• Ensure coherence and direction: You have an overview of testing work in our digital deliveries and escalate challenges to the appropriate level when needed. You support Skånetrafiken in data-driven analysis of incidents and bugs to identify improvement areas and find preventive measures to enhance work processes, follow-up, and achieve better efficiency and quality.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in test management or as a Test Manager
• Very good knowledge in Rapid Software Testing, either through training or documented practical application
• Experience working in agile teams and organizations
• Experience establishing or developing testing processes and common working methods
• Ability to coach, drive, and create structure across multiple teams

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation, although this is not the focus
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with SAFe
• Experience from complex organizations with many delivery teams
