Senior App Developer Cross-platform

Cherry Online continues to invest in the mobile experience and is now seeking a Senior App Developer. You will take overall technical responsibility for our mobile applications and play a key role in how we build and develop our mobile platform moving forward. We currently have several apps live and plan to launch additional products in the future.

The role involves technical ownership, from architecture and technical decisions to best practices for how our apps are built, scaled, and maintained. The goal is to build mobile products that can compete with the best apps in iGaming globally. You will work closely with product and business but are expected to independently set the direction for mobile development and establish a stable technical foundation for future growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Own architecture and technical structure for our cross-platform applications
• Drive the development of new apps as well as further develop existing products
• Establish best practices in app development, release processes, and code quality
• Ensure high performance, stability, and scalability in our apps
• Make technical decisions regarding packages, architecture patterns, and platform integration
• Work closely with product teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions
• Ensure that apps meet requirements from regulatory authorities in relevant jurisdictions

We are looking for you who

• Have several years of experience in app development in production, preferably cross-platform
• Have deep understanding of your framework's ecosystem of packages and tools
• Have experience taking technical responsibility for apps with many active users
• Have good understanding of mobile architecture, state management (e.g., Bloc, Riverpod, or similar) and testing
• Have experience with API integrations, backend communication, and real-time data
• Understand platform-specific requirements for both iOS and Android, including App Store and Play Store processes
• Are self-sufficient and comfortable owning a mobile platform from the ground up

The role is based in Kalmar, where you work closely with our development teams and have great influence over how our future mobile products are built.
