Curtain Seamstress for English Wallpaper Magazine – extra as needed

We are now immediately seeking a skilled and experienced curtain seamstress for our sewing atelier in central Gothenburg. Currently needed 2-3 days per week. Then as needed. The position will be filled immediately so please submit your CV as soon as possible. You will work closely with our main seamstress and be an important part of our atelier. When you come for an interview, you will do a sewing test to see how you handle industrial sewing machines and fabrics.

English Wallpaper Magazine is one of Sweden's most reputable interior design houses and has been in existence since 1899. We sell wallpapers, fabrics, and paint to customers throughout the country – both in-store and through our growing webshop. Our own sewing atelier is a natural extension of our range and helps our customers realize their curtain dreams, often in collaboration with our interior designers.

About the position

We are looking for you who have solid experience in curtain sewing and sewing of interior textiles. You are accustomed to working with industrial sewing machines and working with high quality, and have good knowledge of classic curtain solutions, such as pleating tape, gathering tape, cushions, and other details that belong to interior sewing. You have an eye for details, are meticulous, and have a sense of style and textiles – preferably with an understanding of the type of interior design we work with. It is a requirement that you are accustomed to working with industrial sewing machines.
