Aviation Safety Engineer for Management Systems

Our department delivers management systems to both the Swedish Air Force and international customers. With us, you will have the opportunity to work where your expertise contributes to societal protection and to develop system solutions for Sweden's defense.

As an aviation safety engineer, you will have the opportunity to influence the entire development chain—from risk analysis to system approval.

You will lead aviation safety work and drive continuous improvement of our processes. You formulate and manage safety requirements according to applicable standards and ensure that these requirements are integrated into the system design. In collaboration with technical experts, you ensure that both functional aviation safety requirements and assurance requirements are met in system design and implementation.

You are responsible for producing the documentation required for approval of aviation safety certification.

We are looking for you with:

• Engineering degree, for example in systems science or equivalent

• Experience in product development.

• Experience in aviation safety work in technology-intensive environments

• Experience working with aviation safety according to EUROCAE ED-153

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Good knowledge of RTCA DO-278A (EUROCAE ED-109)

• Good knowledge of TSFS 2019:126

• Good knowledge of Functional Safety

• Experience working with aviation safety within FMV/Swedish Armed Forces

• Experience leading work in the field
