About the club

Djursholms Tennis Club was founded in 1943, is located in Danderyd municipality, about 20 minutes from Stockholm city, and is one of Sweden's largest tennis clubs with over 2,000 members. We offer 6 fine indoor courts and two clay courts at Djursholms Castle. At our club, juniors and seniors play alongside recreational and competitive players of all ages. With a renovation in the summer of 2022, we have created one of Sweden's most pleasant tennis clubs, with a new service area that includes reception, shop, and café, as well as an extension of a padel section with three courts. Since spring 2025, a state-of-the-art gym has also been available in our premises, operated by the club.

The café, shop, and reception are the hub of our operations and the face outward to all who visit the hall.

About the position and role

In the café, reception, and shop, you work closely with the club's staff and members. You put service first and can juggle many tasks at once. Being organized and social with the customer's best interest in mind is a given. You are used to handling customers of all ages and enjoy it. A typical workday includes everything from member inquiries, selling balls and shoes in the shop, to serving or restocking/baking goods in the café. The role involves working during daytime as well as evenings/weekends/holidays. Your schedule may vary between fixed hours and extra hours. Experience from previous café work and an interest in racket sports are advantageous. If you are the right person, the position can be expanded over time. Your immediate supervisor is the Café Manager.

o Preferably with an interest in tennis or padel

o Computer skills

o Speaks Swedish fluently in speech and writing
