Description

We now want to welcome a new cook to our fully equipped preschool kitchen. Do you want to be part of creating food joy while contributing to children's learning? We are seeking an engaged cook who wants to develop children's curiosity for flavors, ingredients, and meals.

Gunghästen Preschool is a small and family-oriented preschool operated as a parent cooperative where the guardians, through the appointed board, run the preschool. The principal and trained educators are responsible for the teaching and handle the daily work.

We place great importance on meals and are careful that each meal should offer varied and nutritious food. For several years, we have worked with meal education where the sapere method and cultivation are part of our educational work. We serve all meals through a buffet where the children themselves can choose what they want to eat and how much. During the summer half-year, we open our outdoor kitchen where the preschool cook has the opportunity to sometimes cook over an open fire together with children and educators, which we then eat at the associated dining areas.
