Certified Barista / Café Employee

Barista with experience and interest in quality? Combined role with coffee, food prep and service in a growing café in Nacka.

We are looking for you who is a down-to-earth, curious and positive barista and café employee with several years of experience.

Location: Café Bahia, Nya Gatan 23, Nacka

You will work in a small café close to our co-owners, where together we create a unique experience inspired by Bahia in Brazil – with a focus on specialty coffee, food and atmosphere.

👉 The role is combined, where both barista work, food preparation as well as hygiene, cleaning and maintenance are equally important parts of the work.

Your work tasks include:

• Prepare espresso and filter coffee with precision and consistency
• Perform latte art and develop your craftsmanship as a barista
• Prepare coffee and other beverages according to Café Bahia's recipes
• Work with espresso machine, grinders and pour-over (e.g. V60)
• Prepare simpler food (e.g. açaí bowls, sandwiches and lighter lunch)
• Restock and organize goods at the bar
• Receive orders and give guests a warm and professional reception
• Ensure order, cleanliness and ongoing maintenance of work surfaces and equipment
• Follow routines for cleaning, hygiene and food safety
• Support with opening and closing of the café
• Collaborate closely with co-owners in daily operations

We are looking for you who:

Requirements:

• Certified barista
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a barista
• Experience with both espresso and pour-over (e.g. V60, Kalita)
• Good communication skills in English (Swedish is meritorious)
