Delicatessen/Restaurant Assistant

Buhres at Kivik is located in the harbor of Kivik in Österlen and consists of a fish and delicatessen counter, a smokehouse, and a restaurant with various dining sections.

Since 2016, Buhres has been part of Lagnell Group, which owns and operates the Laxbutikerna on the west coast. The goal with Buhres is to develop the business, ensure quality, maintain our strong brand, and run a company where both guests and employees feel comfortable.

At Buhres, we adapt menus and assortment according to season and events.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is service-minded, cheerful, and positive. You have a great interest in food. You enjoy working carefully and in an organized manner. You thrive working at a fast pace with like-minded colleagues. You also have a twinkle in your eye ;) We would prefer if you have cash register experience, but it is not a requirement.

Your main tasks will be to serve our customers in a pleasant and professional manner in our fish, cheese, and delicatessen section. You also ensure that the store's shelves and refrigerated counters are stocked and tidy throughout the day and answer phone calls. We place great emphasis on cleaning and keeping our store clean and fresh, both in the areas where customers move but also "behind" the counter where we work.

Within the company, we often work across boundaries, which means we have close cooperation with other departments. Therefore, tasks such as serving in the restaurant, producing simpler delicacies in the kitchen, or other duties in the business may also be included in the job responsibilities.

Working hours include daytime, evening, and weekends. However, latest until 7:00 PM.

Other Information

You will receive ongoing training at the workplace.

Scope of the position: 50-100%

Duration of the position: 1-3 months.

Start date: As agreed.

Salary: Hourly wage according to collective agreement/as agreed.

Overtime and holiday pay are added on top of the hourly wage.
