
Reception and Conference Host for Källan!
Description
We are looking for you who love providing service and value hospitality! As a reception and conference host, you are the face of our guests. You welcome visitors, handle bookings, answer questions, and ensure conference guests feel comfortable.
Job Duties
As a receptionist/conference hostess, you will:
● Receive guests upon arrival and manage check-in and check-out.
● Handle bookings, payments, and cash register systems.
● Answer the phone, manage email, and provide information about the hotel, the area, and our services.
● Prepare and serve conference groups with coffee breaks, lunch, or other services as needed.
● Perform certain administrative tasks.
● Collaborate with other staff in the building to ensure the guest's stay is as good as possible.
● Ensure that entrance and reception areas are always presentable.
We are looking for you who:
● Are positive, service-oriented, and enjoy meeting people.
● Have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
● Have good computer skills and are quick to learn new systems.
● Are responsible and can work both independently and in a team.
● Are flexible, stress-resistant, and solution-oriented.
● Have a good sense of order and structure.
● Have experience working in reception, conferences, or other service – meritorious.
● Have education in hotel/tourism – meritorious.
● Knowledge of booking systems is a plus.
Other Information
● Employment rate: 80–100%
● Start date: Immediate, recruitment is ongoing
● Working hours: Varying, daytime, evenings, and some weekends
● Collective agreement: HRF
● Driver's license and car: a requirement (due to limited bus connections)
