Summer Staff at Snäckan

Welcome to work at Snäckan - a harmonious place by the sea on Gotland's west coast!

As summer staff at Snäckan, you will have a versatile job. At the beginning and end of the summer, together with the kitchen manager and your colleagues, you will take care of our camp groups who both stay and have full board with us. This means you will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and coffee breaks, do dishes, clean, and assist the kitchen manager with cooking and baking as needed.

During the tourist season (July), you will take care of guests renting vacation accommodations at Snäckan in our cabins, rooms, and at the campsite. This involves managing the reception with check-ins and check-outs, handling bookings, taking payments, and assisting guests and other visitors with inquiries. You will also handle service at Café Snäckan, where we offer a small but homemade selection of pastries and sandwiches, as well as candy, soda, and ice cream. You will assist the kitchen manager with any cooking and baking as needed. A large part of the work consists of cleaning both cabins and rooms, as well as common areas such as showers, toilets, kitchens, and the café.

About Snäckan

Snäckan has a calm and beautiful location on Gotland's west coast, about 30 kilometers south of Visby, on the outskirts of Klintehamn. We have a total of 84 beds distributed across 10 6-bed cabins, 3 camping cabins, and 4 rooms. In addition, we have a gathering hall, conference room, and café/dining area with a modern kitchen. We also offer campsites for caravans and tents, as well as parking spaces. At Snäckan, there is also a café, kiosk, football and beach volleyball courts, disc golf, playground, mini-golf course, proximity to swimming, and opportunities for beautiful nature experiences. During the pre- and post-season, we receive groups with full and half board. Snäckan is owned and operated by the congregations within the Equmeniakyrkan on Gotland.
