For many years, Norrqvarn has been an attractive tourist destination in the summer, with guests both nationally and internationally who come to visit to experience and enjoy the Göta Canal, nature, activities, good food, and create wonderful memories. Norrqvarn is a perfect place to have as a home base to experience the surrounding area. We offer a variety of accommodations: hotel rooms, glamping tents, unique cottages, and mushroom-shaped huts. The summer restaurant serves all day, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. On-site, there is also a popular mini-canal, an ice cream kiosk, and bicycle and canoe rentals.

We are looking for kitchen assistants who enjoy pace, service, and being part of a team.

Job Duties

• Simple preparations, cooking, and replenishment of food
• Plating and presentation
• Preparing ingredients such as chopping and portioning
• Ensuring the food maintains high quality
• Cleaning and maintaining order in restaurant areas
• Helping out where needed – we are a team!

We are looking for you who

• Have energy, are positive, and have an interest in kitchen work
• Are meticulous, responsible, and have an eye for detail
• Enjoy working in a team and following instructions
• Can handle occasional high pace
• Can work evenings and weekends during the season
• Speak English fluently (Swedish is advantageous)

Experience?

Advantageous, but not a must – we recruit heavily based on personality and attitude.

Requirement for functional commuting: either own car or walking/cycling distance.
