At Hotel Vännäs, a family-run business with 23 rooms, our guests stay right in the heart of Vännäs, close to temperate swimming in the summer and ski slopes and cross-country skiing in the winter.

They can enjoy nature or take a walk in the town center with cafes and shops. Our guests can also savor a good meal in our cozy restaurant, which has extensive restaurant operations with a banquet hall and party evenings.

We who work at the hotel are a cheerful team with strong camaraderie. We look after each other, help out where needed, and see development, big or small, as the most natural part of our work. Together, we create a good atmosphere and a welcoming environment that, in turn, shapes the stay for all our guests and colleagues.

We are now looking for a skilled service-oriented employee for varied tasks such as: service, bar, breakfast, reception, and cleaning in our common areas.

Regardless of why the guest comes to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. As a host, you act as a host together with the rest of the hotel team, creating a world-class guest experience. In the role of service host, you work in several areas of responsibility, all contributing to the guest's overall experience.

What does the role of service host entail? You who work with us are often the first person the guest meets at our hotel, in reception, the breakfast dining room, or in our restaurant. Therefore, it is of great importance that you have a warm demeanor and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have a burning interest in food and drink and like order and tidiness, both in your own and your colleagues' work. All to give our guests a fantastic experience.

Your main tasks will be serving food and drinks, breakfast host, receptionist, and perhaps most importantly, keeping our spaces clean and nice. You also, of course, support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

Who are you? To fit the role, we believe you have at least five years of experience in similar work or service-driven operations. Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite.

If you live outside Vännäs, a driver's license is a must, as current train and bus connections do not suit all working hours. Most important, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be an attentive and humble team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall results. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests. We are looking for an employee who is seeking a lasting job and wants to become part of Hotel Vännäs.
