We are now looking for receptionists for the season to join our team at Hotel Skansen Öland.

About Us

Hotel Skansen is located in Färjestaden on Öland, just after the bridge landing. We are a hotel, spa, conference, and restaurant facility in constant development – we want more and work to be the obvious choice on Öland.

• Several conference rooms and banquet halls

About the Position

As a receptionist with us, you are the hub of operations and an important part of the overall experience.

You have daily contact with our guests – on-site, via phone and email – and are responsible for ensuring every interaction is professional, personal, and welcoming.

Your tasks include:

• Check-in and check-out
• Bookings and administration
• Guest service and information provision
• Handling inquiries and problem-solving
• Collaboration with other departments

We work as a team and help out where needed – sometimes even in the restaurant or bar.

• Is quick to learn and takes initiative

Experience in hotel reception is advantageous.

If you have worked with Techotel (Picasso), it is an extra plus, but not a requirement.

Employment Conditions

• Temporary employment
• Scope: 50%
• Period: week 25 – mid/late August (training may occur before)
• Working hours: varying shifts between 06:30–23:00 (morning, day, evening)
• We are members of Visita and follow the collective agreement with HRF
